    Samsung U28E590D 28-Inch 4k UHD LED-Lit Monitor

    • It has the full compliment of settings so you can do a proper color calibration, if that's important to you
    • Downloaded an icc profile, looked up 'best' color settings, etc
    • The colors on this are terrible by comparison
    • While the color is better on IPS, MOST of us don't need it!The Color and contrast are very good, but it's only 1000:1 contrast ratio, good for most uses, but not extreme.
    • I never use the "Eye Saver" mode, which ruins color and contrast.
    • I'm looking at a bunch of complex colors right now where there are pink, orange, and blue shades that vary in gradient (from dark pink to light pink for instance)
    • @ 60hz, bright brilliant colors
    • The colors are really nice on it and i like the size
    • Super crisp, great colors, fantastic construction
    • Super crisp, great colors, fantastic construction
    • No tearing when playing games and gorgeous color
    • Its not ips or the best color correction, but for the money it is awsome
    • All colors are blown, washed out
    • I am not a color freak, but the colors look very good to my untrained eye.
    • It's a good monitor:- Great color, refresh rate, brightness.
    • Sit up in your chair and the screen adjusted for slouch will look awful (no contrast depth, poor color saturation).
    • FANTASTIC colors and clarity
    • Color is bad
    • This monitor has excellent color, resolution and speed.
    • The colors are BRIGHT and CRISP and CLEAR
    • Then when it came back on the screen color was a sickening pale pink color
    • Clear, big and very good color
    • Easy setup, great color
    • No issues at all, the colors are vibrant, it wakes up from sleep when the computer does
    • Rich colors and sharp images when watching Blu-Ray movies, and crisp text when working very large (physically big
    • The text is very sharp, and the colors are OK, but the colors do not "pop" like on my old monitors.
    • mediocre not worth the money, came with a few dead pixels and colors are not vibrant at all
    • The video is outstanding, very bright and the colors look great
    • absolutely love this monitor, colors are amazing
    • UHD resolution;c) good response times (for me at least);d) good viewing angles;e) decent color
    • The dark look deeper, the colors are more vibrant.
    • Also the colors are perfect.
    • good color, eye saver mode is great for a long day, but the viewing angles aren't very good.
    • After 7 months I can honestly say the 4K is NOT worth the hideous colors of this screen
    • Also, the color of this monitor is not great at all
    • Color is crisp and easy to switch between two machine
    • She's particularly impressed with the color spectrum, black-white clarity and contrast
    • One more thing - I purchased it because it was supposed to be a 4k monitor with 1ms refresh rate and excellent color / lighting - almost all false - with a vesa mount
    • What I like : the colors and clarity of games at ultra high settings are the best i have ever seen and certainly better than on any monitor i have owned.
    • The colors are wack too, much tweaking to get anything close to a decent picture and it still lacks
    • Color great.
    • Is a so good screen, nice color and greate price
    • The color is severely imprecise
    • This monitor looked fantastic for still pictures and the colors were pretty good for a TN panel
    • Excellent color and contrast
    • The picture quality was pretty good (maybe the colors could have been better though), but I had to return it for a refund after getting it replaced.
    • Truly, the panels put into these are total garbage and look terrible next to anything with decent color
    • It suddenly started to produce an irritating background noise when the image on the screen is mostly white; if I switch to another image that is mostly comprised of dark color the noise ceases, but it comes back again when I switch back
    • This panel supports 10-bit color depth (1 billion colors), however this monitor is TN-based, so the colors will be far better than your usual TN panel, but still not as good as an IPS panel.
    • (Actually I went down to my local BB as Amazon Prime shipping isn't instant). The main thing: no leaking backlight, great contrast and color, sharp images, I would avoid the knock-offs and go for this Samsung
    • colors are great once i got my Nvidia driver to take control of it.
    • Beautiful screen, colors and sharpness
    • Great screen, excellent color, very sharp picture
    • Geometry is more obvious at 4k and very few games have textures that look good up close (and the colors on this monitor aren't terribly great).
    • No issues at all, the colors are vibrant, it wakes up from sleep when the computer does
    • Very easy on the eyes and beautiful color
    • Display looks great, white is bright and colors are amazing
    • It comes exactly as advertised, picture is crisp native 3840x2160 resolution, and the colors look very rich in most picture modes
    • I've seen better colors and contrast on other 4K
    • And people say the colors are bad, which is weird
    • Crystal clear vibrant colors
    • I spend at least 10 hours each and every day on this computer and I decided I deserve a good, large screen with good color and brightness.
    • Nice color.
    • But for what I'm using it for, the color's are simply amazing and the viewing angles super impressive
    • As a TV it works fine, colors are a little
    • Good colors at 60hz
    • The picture is good enough that you can tell it's 4k, but the colors aren't vibrant
    • so I wanted to make sure I had accurate color
    • Awesome product for the money, but my 2K Dell monitor I bought 4 years ago has much better color.
    • Beautiful... just beautiful, the colors are amazing, games run well in 4k, paired with an https://www.amazon.com/Radeon-4096-bit-DisplayPort-Gaming-Graphics/dp/B012DSZ2U4/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1478100326&sr=8-1&keywords=r9+fury+strix , the R9 Strix has Freesync and can run games in 4k at a solid frame rate, my former monitor, which was 1080p and lacked freesync, started to make me ill with new games, this monitor solved that issue as there isn't any screen tearing, I can turn v-sync off and rely on the open standard freesync to control the framerate of the monitor to the framerate that the AMD R9 Strix can muster
    • The colors are very accurate
    • Great product, sharp, bright, and rich colors
    • Lackluster colors are dull and flat- Not quite big enough to completely ignore UI scaling (slightly less resolution would work just as well)- Cheap stand that can't adjust height and wobbles with typing- Power cord has a brick in the middle, making it difficult to use with a standing deskThis is my second 4k monitor and there is a noticeable difference in quality between this and my first 4k monitor.
    • The picture is super clear, sharp, and the colors are chrisp and clear.
    • The colors and size of the monitor are nice, though the viewing angle is restricted (like many people said in the reviews).
    • Brilliant colors and refresh rate
    • As a whole experience, if you're tight in budget, I would even suggest you go to some 1080P or 2K monitor with better color and support
    • It isn't worth sacrificing all the other colors just to get darker blacks
    • Color here is pretty miserable
    • The colors are pretty great, but with the coil whine drowning out my audio, I can't even really appreciate at them as I'm worried my ears are going to bleed.
    • The colors are also super VIVID and has really good viewing angles
    • You'd be better off spending that money on a high frame rate monitor with more vibrant colors
    • I say most, some are a little watered down, mainly when using game mode on the monitor, which yields the fastest response times, but even with that on, the colors of this monitor is still vastly superior to my previous monitor, a 1080p ASUS brand
    • Not a good second monitor for my macbook: color was inaccurate and difficult to adjust, and the black tones wouldn’t get darker than dark grey
    • Otherwise color is decent and resolution is great for CAD work but not as crisp as apple display for certain although half the cost
    • It looks gorgeous when I connect it to my PC and the 4K desktop is massive, colors are great and refresh is better
    • Its beautiful and the colors are vibrant.
    • Color and contrast is great
    • No problems whatsoever, stunning picture with beautiful colors, can't game in 4k cuz gpu but the videos are beautiful
    • The eye saver mode is nice at night; I utilized applications to do this in the past, but it's nice to use the intuitive toggle switch to select eye saver/night mode and dim it a bit when the lights are off, but even in eye saver mode the colors are still really nice
    • Here, these were the settings that here, but you should definitely find your own values considering the device you received, the environment, working light color and so on:Samsung Magic Brightness: Custom
    • The viewing angles are okay, but I found that if I was so much as an inch off of perpendicular when looking at the screen, then the colors would shift warmer slightly, but noticeably
    • I'd describe this as poor spatial color accuracy, but the problem is mostly the viewing angle.
    • First of all, it is a great monitor with excellent color, dynamic range, and sharpness of display
    • Viewing angle was a little weird with bright colors until I turned the contrast down a tad
    • 4k *grin*. Good color and contrast, like the PIP/split screen option being available.
    • Great color, quality, it is fast and easy to use.
    • The screen has a weird color imbalance going on
    • The colors are pretty great, but with the coil whine drowning out my audio, I can't even really appreciate at them as I'm worried my ears are going to bleed.
    • Best Features: Color, sharpness, and viewing angles are impressive.
    • Color changes and fall-off due to viewing angle from center to edge of screen very noticeable
    • TERRIBLE viewing angles and bad blacks/color.
    • Its colors are really nice
    • You can get decent colors out of it
    • Great monitor with fantastic color and great motion clarity
    • It works fine, color is not that great,
    • It works fine, color is not that great,
    • Bright crisp colors too.
    • Although only one inch larger than the monitor this Samsung product replaced, I can honestly say the colors are crisp and vivid.
