• Reviews around input lag (1.47 of 5)

    Samsung U28E590D 28-Inch 4k UHD LED-Lit Monitor

    • The input lag is awful for a monitor that is meant to be used for any games
    • I have an 8 year old TN panel monitor that I use every day that still out performs this monitor in input lag and response time alone which is pretty sad
    • The input lag and response time are the other reasons that I returned this monitor
    • This renders a beautiful, crisp, bright, and high contrast image while offering a really low latency/input lag.
    • The input lag was around 30ms which is pretty slow given what it is intended to be used for
    • The downside to this monitor is the input lag, responsiveness, and the ghosting on the screen
    • For the most part, the general consensus agrees that TN panels are better for gaming because of decreased input lag, and better color accuracy, while IPS panels offer better black levels and contrast, and viewing angle
    • 1ms refresh, with overclocked on its 0.0 input lag (which is unbelievable for a 4K monitor), 4K resolution with 0 ghosting and barely any motion blur
    • I mainly play FPS games (cod, Battlefield, etc.) so refresh rate, input lag, gaming mode, etc is extremely important since I take gaming very seriously
    • main thing I didn't like is that there is a noticeable input lag. if you pan your mouse over the screen, it is kind of jittery

    • The picture looks amazing like expected, and it's great with backwards compatibility for 1080 P
    • n’t have any issues with it and no dead pixels it does put out 4K at 60hz with my Xbox
    • The base is not adjustable and the big T makes a difficult to even swivel it on your desktop
    • The base broke as I assembled it
    • The hardcopy manual was only in Korean, leaving me frustrated as I tried unsuccessfully to force together an adapter that seemingly was meant to fit the extra power cord
    • It is not as sharp as I'd like, but it could be due to Windows scaling
