    Samsung U28E590D 28-Inch 4k UHD LED-Lit Monitor

    • 720P is the best resolution it will display.
    • It comes exactly as advertised, picture is crisp native 3840x2160 resolution, and the colors look very rich in most picture modes
    • For best screen resolution, use Display Port (HDMI works, but was able to obtain a higher resolution with Display Port)

    • [note that MacOS does HiDPI by using a fake "lower" resolution, and smoothing it back up to the native resolution, so this isn't "wasting" the UHD, it's setting how much the UI is scaled.

    • Some DVI cards do support 4K resolution and an adapter might work, but consider upgrading to a better video card for 4K use!
