Simply plug the drive into any available USB 2 or USB 3 port, wait for Windows to recognize it and use the Windows 10 supplied backup program

I literally had to throw one away because the USB was damaged.

I like the USB but this defective functionality was not advertised by SanDisk and although they MAY have fixed it, they have made no effort to solve the problem for users who bought the defective flash drives.

I haven't gotten the posted speeds but I haven't used it on a modern usb 3 port.

So although this would be the perfect USB drive otherwise, I'm giving this product a poor rating--fantastic capacity and speed mean nothing if you cannot connect the unit.

You may also have to load special modules (i.e. ESXi 6.0) to get USB 3.0 to work properly.
