These SanDisk sansa clip plus mp3 players, which apparently are no longer in production, have proven themselves to be terrific music machines for runners.

Its nice that it accepts MicroSDs, so even if you fill up a 32gb (the highest size that it takes), you can load more music onto subsequent cards and insert them as you wish

In comparison to the Cowon J3 (one of the best-sounding music players to date, unfortunately, it seems to have been discontinued), even with bass amplification from the Fiio E6, the bass for the Clip+ is noticeably deeper but not as heavy as the Cowon J3 without amplification

Sometimes simple is the best, and if you're looking for a super portable, highly affordable, dedicated MP3 music player, this, in my opinion, is easily the best on the market today
