It's a neat gadget, but haven't found it particularly useful

I recently travelled to China and didn't have data connection or reliable wifi to transfer files all the time and this gadget was extremely useful.

The replacement works as it should

The sliding plastic covers that go over the ports are annoying as they rarely stay locked in place while plugging.

The advertise for this product says it should work with any android functional smartphone, but it does not work with my Galaxy S4Mini as well as with my brother's S3mini (the phones dont recognize the external hard drive), however it does work with an S3, an S4 and even with a much older
