I have really enjoyed this flash drive because I can download music, pictures, videos directly to my smart phone.

I've had some trouble getting my Nexus 6 phone to recognize that the drive is plugged in

The only thing that is a bit of a pain to use is that I have to remove my phones protective case in order for the micro usb to fit into the port on the phone..its not long enough to reach with the case on

an FYI-the micro end does not extend to fit through my phone's Otter Box, so I can't use it on my smart phone without removing the case

I would have liked for my phone to be compatible with the USB, but it isn't (that is why I lowered the rating)

Note: connecting through some phone protective cases may not work

Last year my phone, tablet and computer died, roughly at the same time :(

The micro USB end is so short that anyone with a half-decent case on their smart phone will have to remove the case before being able to plug the micro end into the phone.

But any reasonably up-to-date phone should work with this, but the manufacturer publishes a list of compatible devices and you would do well to check it first

I read the list of compatible phones and while I did not see the Droid Ultra they did list a model that had the same numbers as the Droid Ultra as being compatible

Most people have cases or covers on their smart phones and the micro plug is not long enough to properly seat in the connector without removing the case.
