May 2017 - SSD still running strong - no issues and no slow downs after 1.5 years.

Small in size and easily fits into any size case...you will not find a better SSD for this price

SO, I have replaced my SanDisk Ultra II 960GB SSD with a OWC 960GB SSD which has all of the built in tech needed to manage and clean the SSD on a Mac

I cloned the laptop using Corsair 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive and Hard Disk Drive Cloning Kit CSSD-UPGRADEKIT, installed the new SSD and it worked great.

I installed this ssd on my mac mini, and it work flawlessly for about 2-3 months, but suddenly it stop working and show that the drive was not installed, I took it out and put in usb case, sometimes it works

This SanDisk SSD is sweet

It's a crying shame that a company such as SanDisk who pretty much popularized the Flash-memory stick has such a bad SSD on their hands

Update 7/8/16: the ssd has been working fine since 1/6/16.

The games that were freezing were running off different drives, so this SSD was idle!

Great SSD and worth it when on sale

While it isn't the fastest SATA SSD on the market, the $/GB ratio (on sale) was impossible to ignore and its been going strong so far

And two years later I'm building a new $4000 rig and this SSD is still quite useful as storage and definitely not obsolete, unlike the graphics cards and cpu.

Cut my boot times from 2.5 minutes down to 30 seconds, I highly recommend this SSD

I wanted a large enough SSD to hold everything (well, at least programs and day-to-day files), and this fit the bill perfectly.

SSD is the way to go and, so far, this disc hasn't failed.

Ultimately, Sandisk, painstakingly replaced the drive, concluding WITHOUT ANY trouble shooting whatsoever, just a lot of my time wasted, concluding I had a bad SSD.

Whether you are upgrading an internal drive, or using for external, this is a great SSD at a very solid price point.

The SSD had minor speed improvements because of Apple's Fusion Drive technology and it also left the 120GB SSD partition of Apple's failed Fusion Drive available for use as extra storage

Those updates may be your ticket to a more reliable SSD.

It's terribly inconvenient to have to go through this process... part of me wants to give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe its just a faulty SSD and buy another one, but now the price is more than $60 more expensive than what I bought it for
