    Sangean RCR-3 RCR-3 AM/FM Atomic Digital/Analog Clock Radio (White)

    • Very nice, but again, this feature is just a cool bonus for me
    • He absolutely loves the back-light feature and how it synchronizes to the correct time with the nearest atomic clock via the radio
    • It is packed full of great features which many other reviews describe in detail.
    • One feature is great
    • But the auto dim is really a nice feature
    • Good product with excellent features.
    • Alarm/RadioYou can wake up to the radio and the volume of the alarm radio and the regular radio are independent which is a nice feature, so if I turn up the radio while I'm listening to it during the day, it does not affect the volume that the alarm uses (this is a brilliant feature and I didn't even know how important this was to me).
    • I love all the features.
    • and it is a wonderful feature
    • and I liked the dimmer feature
    • The nap feature is very handy too.
    • My favorite things: having 4 alarms (2 radio and 2 buzz), I can set alarms for different days of the week, automatic time set and radio set, the face lights up when the alarm sounds, I can adjust the light on the face to completely off and it dims itself out which is cool to watch, it doesn't take up much space, I can adjust the buzzer alarm volume as well as the radio alarm volume, and the very best features
    • I haven't used all the features, but nice to know they're there if I need em.
    • The slow wind up of the alarms is a very nice feature
    • Mostly, there is too much bass emphasis, even though bass-treble control is a good feature (found on the bottom of the unit).-- I found that setting the radio up for receiving the 'radio-controlled' sync for timing was easy.
    • However, the clock's face is attractive and is actually fun to watch when lit, and I've gotten used to regarding its soothing glow as my "night light."The humane waking system is a welcomed feature, as the wake-up volume slowly increases and doesn't "jolt you awake
    • A very nice feature at night is having the light on the clock fade completely to black
    • Great feature!
    • If you like to nap -- this is an extremely useful feature
    • Interesting feature with the alarm when it goes off - the analog clock face illuminates in amber - kind of neat
    • It's neat looking, easy to use and has lots of great features.
    • Nice features of having multiple alamrs to set with buzzer or radio.
    • Lots of nice features
    • It works really well and I love the features
    • It also as a marvelous nap feature.
    • thousands!).The set up was quite simple, it keeps flawless time, and what I would call the perfect feature is the ability to set an alarm time for days OTHER THAN the usual Monday thru Friday.
    • Other reviews here describe the Sangean RCR3 features well.
    • The ability to set alarms by the day is an excellent feature and one that nearly everyone who gets up on a schedule will love
    • All the features I've tried have worked so far
    • Ever since the 90s I have owned an alarm clock with one vitally important feature: two or more alarms
    • One feature missing here that I would like to see is a variable snooze length
    • A cool feature I discovered is that, while the radio is off, if you hold one of the radio preset buttons on top it will show you what the date is going to be for that coming day of the week, so it's kinda like a mini calendar
    • But the auto dim is really a nice feature
    • One of the best features was the dimmable backlight.
    • Nice features
    • This one has an excellent radio, a good clock display, and many, many features to justify the fact that it costs considerably more than the usual simple clock radio.
    • The adjustable brightness of the face and the "Humane Waking System" are fantastic features.
    • It has good reception and sound, and I enjoy the analog clock and how it is synchronized with the digital clock, as well as the atomic clock feature
    • There are many great features to this clock
    • This is a feature-rich clock with controls that are very different from those of generic clock radios, and there's no way to set it up and get the most out of it without going through the documentation carefully
    • The auto signal works great for me, but even if it didn't you can disable the feature and set the time manually, just like any other alarm clock
    • The BEST feature Sangean had going for them was *daily* alarm set schedules for people like me who's schedule jumps around
    • During setup, I noticed that the dimming feature on the units did not dim the display at the same degree
    • Nice feature!I would buy this radio again.
    • I see this feature as completely unnecessary since there is already a button for turning on the backlight to high and keeping it on high until you turn it off.
    • The features are nice, but the controls are not intuitive
    • The light options, the option for the volume of the radio alarm and also the gentle waking up feature.
    • Love the nap feature!!
    • I had found the solution to eliminating this so very annoying feature of our classic Proton clock radio of many years
    • Another really nice feature with the Sangean is that both radio and buzzer alarms gradually increase in volume
    • I am a bit particular about techie stuff and this clock was impressive looking with great features.
    • However, Sangean quietly updated the clock and while some good features were added (e.g. RDMS), some features I considered key were removed
    • Time for cheaper clock where the dim feature works.
    • I think that is an important feature.
    • LOVE all the features about this radio!!
    • The features on it are outstanding from buzzer adjustments to the atomic feature in keeping the clock up to date.
    • Overall this is a fine clock radio with a modern design and features.
    • This product is feature rich with many pros
    • I like the progressive alarm feature very much since my hearing isn't what it once was, and I just LOVE the nap feature
    • Nice features, great sound, does a great job.
    • Until now, the bedroom has been the dark nemesis of this quest; it has been surprisingly difficult to find a reasonably priced, full featured, self-setting clock radio.
    • The auto time self correct feature always works overnight as long as the antenna is fully extended up a wall
    • Lots of nice features and once you come to an accommodation with it, it is fine.
    • For the price, it just has too many quirks that bothered me, such as -- Too difficult to set alarms
    • This has become a real problem since the unexpected brightness of the clock in the middle of the night will actually be so intense as to wake us up.
    • Analog clock face is easy to read across the room without being overly intrusive as with a large LED display.
    • I live in an area of "radio shadow" between hills but had no problem picking up the NIST time signal, and pull in AM and FM about as well as from a good standalone portable radio
