    Sangean RCR-3 RCR-3 AM/FM Atomic Digital/Analog Clock Radio (White)

    • The Humane Waking System also did not work the very first time with the Radio alarms only (they came on at full volume the first time one of them was set).
    • I saw only 2 improvements to suggest both regarding the alarm system
    • The Humane waking system starts the music or beeping noise slowly and quietly and eventually gains speed and
    • The "Humane Wake System" is much nicer to wake up to than the sudden, jarring buzzing from most clocks.- The analog dial's backlight turns orange when the alarm is going off or if you are
    • The "Humane Wake System" is pretty good.
    • The "Humane Wake System" is pretty good.
    • Humane Waking System is worth the price of the clock alone, no instant loud music or buzzer jolting you out of your bed.
    • it's little Humane waking light system and gently starts beeping, if you lay there too long or don't hit snooze it'll get louder and louder until you finally wake up
    • Humane Waking System
    • Humane Waking System allows me to catch the alarm before it wakes up anyone else
    • However, the clock's face is attractive and is actually fun to watch when lit, and I've gotten used to regarding its soothing glow as my "night light."The humane waking system is a welcomed feature, as the wake-up volume slowly increases and doesn't "jolt you awake
    • Overall though, the system is pretty good and would recommend it.
    • This would be a good IMPROVEMENT.What a wonderful idea --- A Humane Waking System works in both radio mode and buzzer mode
    • That "humane waking system" gradually increasing radio volume alarm is

    • And the gentle wake system is a blessing
    • The Humane Waking System is the main reason I bought
    • Humane Waking System is worth the price of the clock alone, no instant loud music or buzzer jolting you out of your bed.
    • The same type of solution may apply to the problems with "Humane Waking System" reported here, as the same type of potentiometer appears to be used in both circuits.)Below, the first image shows the device opened with the brightness control's location on the top of the circuit board.
    • I am very disappointed, as I was really looking forward to waking up to the "Humane Waking System".
    • The alarm uses the Human Waking System which gently rises in volume on both the buzzer or radio
    • Some of the things I like the most are: 1) the ability to control the brightness of the display on a continuous scale (not just high & low like most alarms); 2) the ability to control the volume of the buzzer alarm or radio alarm on a continuous scale (but note that the buzzer alarm volume is controlled by a dial on the bottom of the clock, NOT by the radio volume control, a mistake I made & learned the hard way when the buzzer didn't sound); 3) the intuitiveness of the alarm set-up makes it easy to do & easy to remember; 4) the excellent digital reception for the AM/FM radio signals; 5) the ease of resetting the time & date after a power failure (just keep it plugged in & the Atomic Clock feature automatically re-sets the time & date); 6) the "Humane Waking System", which starts with a low volume beep & gradually increases (this is good for preventing heart attacks for those people shocked into awakening by the sound of most alarm clocks, which sound like a huge garbage truck has just backed up into your bedroom), but for those who need a real loud alarm, just turn up the volume & the initial beep/radio sound will be loud to begin with; 7) the tone quality of the radio is very good for such a small unit & there is a single adjustable tone knob (bass/treble)
    • The adjustable brightness of the face and the "Humane Waking System" are fantastic features.
    • It has a smart illumination system that lights up gradually when the alarm goes on, and whenever you turn something on or off, then dims down to your chosen illumination setting, and offers highly adjustable dimming
    • It was recommended to me by a friend because of the Humane waking system and you can have it set for 4 different alarm times.
    • it has a humane waking system and a really nice tone alarm.cons:
    • Humane Waking System works in both radio mode and buzzer mode.
    • The Humane Waking System is an interesting feature although the sound level could increase a bit more gradually.
    • Best of all, it has a humane wakeup system, which means it starts out very low and gradually increases the volume.
    • It's a real bummer because the rest of the clock is so awesome; the humane waking system is really
    • This is well thought out, feature laden and the HWS (humane waking system
    • I have suffered with a cheap s@ny clock radio for years.
    • Unfortunately, the little table I set my clock upon must not be a good place to receive good signals (waves?), so when I try to listen to the radio, it's often static-y unless I sit right in front of it
