One note: for some reason, the instructions want you to start attaching heavy boards to the light under-top-piece molding strip early in the process.

One piece had a small scratch, which unfortunately is obvious even after making up my bed, but I doubt most people would notice it

That said, it's a solid piece, well-constructed and sturdy.

I have built over half a dozen pieces of furniture made like this one in my life, and I have to say that this was the hardest one I have ever seen

Being particle board you must be careful during assembly and not push or twist any pieces during the assembly process or you risk easily cracking the particle board.
