All in all it's a good machine if you are brewing a pot of coffee, but otherwise I would have to give it a big NO for anything requiring a truly fine and balanced grind.

Otherwise this is a fantastic machine.

If you're making a drip or pour-over, this is a fine machine, but if you're buying it to make a French Press, you will be very disappointed.

On pretty much every grind you have to shake the machine to free the beans to fall into the grinding element.

I have tried cleaning out the hole where the coffee comes out and into the container and basically cleaned the entire machine several times, but there's always a mess on top of the container and stuck by static electricity to all surfaces

It gets the job done and is a tough machine but not very happy with it.

The slope of the fill area is such that you have to shake the machine periodically to get beans to drop into the grinder mechanism.

Cons- messy grinds are everywhere, hard to remove container with grounds, have to keep eye on it while grinding as it sometimes stops in the middle and you have to shake or tap to keep grinding

It appears to do a good job as to grind, although I haven't looked through a magnifying glass to see consistency.

Maximum Coarse setting is not as coarse as I like for my french press coffee maker.
