SCEPTRE 27 Inch IPS Ultra 4K LED Monitor U278W-4000R, UHD 3840x2160, HDMI 2.0 DVI DisplayPort Speakers, Metallic Black (2017)

    • Viewing angles don't usually bug me much on a computer monitor, but they're so bad combined with the insane brightness and contrast settings on this monitor that even at 2 and a half feet away from my face, I find myself having to move my head to see clearly whatever's on different sides of the screen.
    • low brightness and soundThe brightness is bad but usable, but the built in speakers are worthless
    • Good image quality and brightness for the price4k resolution for ~$200No dead pixels
    • Both monitors also had very inconsistent brightness and screen flickering
    • By all means the monitor isn't terrible and unusable; it will function perfectly fine if all you need is 4K resolution running at 60Hz through HDMI and don't care about great colors, brightness and contrast
    • The brightness is extremely lacking, there's a huge chance that you'll have dead pixels, the viewing angles are horrible, it heats up easily, and calibrating the monitor is a nightmare (Very old menus).I thought that I could deal with some issues for around $200, but I was wrong
    • Got a second one and after under 2 months of light use it started having flickering horizontal lines and lowered brightness thus making it unusable by me
    • but the brightness on the monitor is REALLY poor
    • Very, very good brightness
    • Takes a bit of configuring to get just right, though, brightness and contrast are frustrating to adjust
    • Though I still have yet to get that perfect setting combo, I doubt I ever will
    • t work computer and
    • But if you can squeeze a little more out of your budget, I would go with e a more reputable competitor.
