However, the speakers are not that great

I recently decided to change my review on this after receiving my third monitor that was smashed & the 'built in speakers' no longer work

, I can hardly believe that it has decent speakers as well

The speakers are garbage.

I've tried several tweaks via cranking the settings on the screens volume manually via the back and then cranking the program volume up and so forth, but the speakers are just disappointing to say the least.

The speakers are also good for use in a quiet room

Picture is nice, the speakers are clear, and the price was decent.

The speaker is a lie

The backlight is noticeably botchy in black screens with it fading though, speakers aren't loud, and the curve isn't that noticeable.

As others have said, the speakers are worthless.

These are the least loud speakers I've seen since 1999.

The only concern was when reading the reviews were how bad the internal speakers of the monitor were

so I've bought a cheap $15 speaker set to offset this

My only concern with this monitor are the speakers

As other reviews have said, the speakers are pretty bad and the bezels are bigger than shown in the photos, but I hadn't planned on using the monitor speakers and I can live with the bezels, since I'm not planning on gaming with them.

Only minor concern is that because the 27' is so large the maximum 1920x1080 doesn't look as crisp as it would on a smaller screen.

Basically, if you are getting this monitor so that you can multitask at work, it's just going to make everything really large, you won't be able to effectively work with multiple applications open on one screen as I was hoping and have done with other nicer monitors.

Some slight PC gaming as well as for work purposes
