The plastic is thin but works well for what I need it for.

I had mine for less than a month and the plastic cracked and the binding broke.

There are other, similar products with either a wire spiral binding or a stronger plastic spine

This product is very nice, but the plastic that binds the folder broke.

Seems like a great thing for the kids to use as their teacher recommended b/c easier to carry than a Notebook when changing classes.
