The installation is effortless as long as you mount on a smooth, clean surface, or else it wouldn't grip

Would definitely suggest this if you have a sturdy flat surface to stick to.

Did not adhere so well on dashboard because texture is a little rough but works great so far (6days) on a smoother surface

It holds fine to a flat surface on the dash with good suction, but even with the tacky surface of the suction cup it had trouble staying in place on the textured padded part of my dash

It seemed alright out of the box, but it refused to stick to my very slightly curved, clean surface on my dash.

You need a flat smooth surface to stick this too

The product is easy to install and comes with 2 plates for with different sizes and some alcohol pads to clean the surface before mounting

I did everything correctly, wiped down the surface which was a smooth and very flat surface with the wipe and then tried to apply the 3M tape
