Picked smoothest clean surface and it couldn't even hold it's own weight

If you're trying to attach this to a porous surface, you're probably going to struggle but any smooth surface will have a secure mount.

Mounted on my car- smooth surface, attached the magnet to my case holder to which has a open card slot (placed inside) and it works amazingly

Once you clean the surface with alcohol and dry it with a towel you can stick it on

Even though I was installing on a smooth and glossy surface, with no texture, the surface has a slight curve so the sticky suction cup mounts wouldn't stay adhered

I didn't have a problem mounting to a slightly rough/curved dashboard surface, just make sure to clean surface well first and let it set for a day before using.

For best results, clean surface with alcohol.

I purchased this as my 04 Outback doesn't have a surface compatible with a suction cup mount anywhere convenient

so I warmed the surface a bit first with a hair dryer.

Car dash mount - fell off after about 2 minutes on a nice, clean smooth surface.

It came with a couple of wet wipes to clean the surface and an extra adhesive sticker (I'm assuming in case I want to move it someday.)

I've mounted it to my windshield and a very smooth plastic surface on the dash.

That alone is a reason to buy this mount great seller A+++++

I would have given it 5 stars, but the suction cup isn't as sturdy as I would like.

Disappointing as when it was working prior it was a beneficial tool for your cell.
