Scotch 5-Inch Soft Touch Blunt Kid Scissors, 12 Count Teacher Pack, Blue (1442B-12)

    • I bought both the Schoolworks and the Scotch 5 inch blunt kids scissors, and the Scotch was much better, with tight blades that cut things like paper and plastic bags well, whereas the loose blades on the Schoolworks just sort of mashed the material together, so that it got stuck between the blades, instead of cutting them.
    • In reality, I think this makes them more dangerous, as dull blades have a tendency to slip and could lead to injury
    • The blades are sharp the movement is smooth with that slight sandpaper feel
    • The handles are soft, the blades are sharp enough to cut paper, and
    • The blades are sharp enough, too, to cut paper cleanly.
    • The handles work well for their hand size, and the blades are appropriate for upper elementary.
    • Work exactly as you'd expect
