Seagate 2TB FireCuda Gaming SSHD (Solid State Hybrid Drive) - 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Hard Drive (ST2000DX002)

    • Great drive plug and play fast speeds no issues
    • This hard drive is set up in a laptop and works silently at great speed
    • I know it's not going to be SSD speed, but for the 2TB capacity and improved speed, it's worth it for me
    • So if you can only get one, a 4TB will cost close to what a 500gb SSD cost, so your better with the 4TB and your speeds will be pretty good
    • Great hard drive for someone looking for much better speeds than a regular HDD with high storage capacity, too
    • All in all grants me storage at a much faster speed than a normal HDD.
    • no issue after few month... great speed and price.
    • After a few research seagate has great speed and also a hybrid drive for games
    • Excellent speed an reliability!
    • Improved my computing speed by greatly.
    • I don't have proof of the "up to 5x faster" claim listed on the product page, but I can tell you this enhanced our speed tremendously
    • I chose the 1TB Firecuda as a temporary compromise while deciding between M.2 and ssd's thinking it may be a good interim solution (SATA3 vs SATA2 speed).
    • I installed this on a pc that is over 5 years old and it has greatly improved the speed of the computer, almost to the point that I would think it was a newer model computer.
    • , I benched both disk twice and get the same results, this SSHD is slower than 7200.14 series, but Seagate recommend this one for "gaming", my oldest barracuda was faster but doesn't have an small SSD cache inside, maybe with the time will be better in load times but the average speed is mediocre.
    • , it's ideal for those looking for near-solid state drive (SSD) speeds
    • Lightning fast, amazing speed
    • I was getting pretty close to the storage limit on the 512 GB SSD that came with the computer, but I really liked the fast access speed and how smooth the games ran on it and didn't want to totally give that up by transferring everything over to the 3TB 7200RPM standard HDD.
    • Great speed, great capacity, and great price!
    • I'll be honest here, from the start i didn't see any of the real "SSD" snappy speed i'm used to with SSD drives
    • When a person thinks SSD, they're expecting better speed and this drive just didn't perform all that good
    • Great storage and speed for the price.
    • Seagate's solid state hybrid drive (SSHD) design in which the most frequently accessed files are moved from the mechanical hard disk portion to the solid state portion for faster speeds are simply remarkable
    • This Seagate 2TB FireCuda Hybrid HDD/SSD, while not as fast as a straight SSD, still has read and write speeds well above those of standard HDD's
    • Disk HDD until moment has i provided good reading, writing and deleted., has good speed of aceso and cache.
    • I would recommend an SSD, if your reason for upgrading is wanting faster transfer speeds.
    • The speeds on the new drive were disappointing as well
    • Significant speed increase from old HDDGood price pointReduced Game stutteringSlightly faster boot timesNo issues cloning old drive to this driveCons
    • has very decent speed
    • It improved my overall speed somewhat -- enough to make it worth the price and keep me reasonably satisfied for a year -- but was far from the solution I was looking for to significantly speed up an older laptop
    • It improved my overall speed somewhat -- enough to make it worth the price and keep me reasonably satisfied for a year -- but was far from the solution I was looking for to significantly speed up an older laptop
    • So far I love the speed of the drive, and the ease of installing everything to it quickly after migrating my drive over
    • Great speed and storage for a good price.
    • fast hybrid drive, works very well, noticeable speed increases, 5yr warranty, competitive price
    • I needed a fair amount of space with fast search speeds but didn't want to drop a ton of money on a solid state drive.
    • The speed and capacity are fine, but there seems to be a crippling performance hit after bringing my computer out of sleep any longer than a few days
    • No problems yet, Great space, great speeds.
    • no issue after few month... great speed and price.
    • Good thus far, random write speed with a 500 gb folder was around 65mbs a sec ( utilizing only the windows copy paste tool measurement, I didn't use any mire accurate measurements for the raw speed and iops
    • This hard drive has a nice speed with SATA 3 and it has nice storage space for all of my PC games.
    • Great drive plug and play fast speeds no issues
    • However, in the meantime (while you save up for an SSD) this gives you good speeds, speeds significantly better than a HDD, and a lot of space
    • , speed has proved great and its health is great so far
    • , It's speed is amazing as it's almost a 'Instant ON and Off with only a slight lag and when the Computer comes on it's ready to roll
    • The speed at which this was delivered is amazing !!
    • Obviously you you could get better speeds with a SSD but at this price, speed, and storage you can't beat it
    • Great speed for its price and storage size
    • I have noticed significant speed differences in applications that I run on a daily basis due
    • I was expecting some speed up, but it's actually slower than my regular 7200 RPM drive, even after consecutive loads
    • This drive has a 64GB cache buffer that essentially is an ssd bolted on to a high speed mechanical drive with faster communication speeds.
    • It has great load speeds and it just sounds
    • I intend to use these as drives to store backups so speed really isn't that important.
    • Best alternitive you can get to expensive SSD’s
    • This ideal for having a lot of memory with great performance at an affordable price :D
