This hard drive is set up in a laptop and works silently at great speed

I know it's not going to be SSD speed, but for the 2TB capacity and improved speed, it's worth it for me

So if you can only get one, a 4TB will cost close to what a 500gb SSD cost, so your better with the 4TB and your speeds will be pretty good

I don't have proof of the "up to 5x faster" claim listed on the product page, but I can tell you this enhanced our speed tremendously

I chose the 1TB Firecuda as a temporary compromise while deciding between M.2 and ssd's thinking it may be a good interim solution (SATA3 vs SATA2 speed).

I installed this on a pc that is over 5 years old and it has greatly improved the speed of the computer, almost to the point that I would think it was a newer model computer.

, I benched both disk twice and get the same results, this SSHD is slower than 7200.14 series, but Seagate recommend this one for "gaming", my oldest barracuda was faster but doesn't have an small SSD cache inside, maybe with the time will be better in load times but the average speed is mediocre.

I was getting pretty close to the storage limit on the 512 GB SSD that came with the computer, but I really liked the fast access speed and how smooth the games ran on it and didn't want to totally give that up by transferring everything over to the 3TB 7200RPM standard HDD.

This Seagate 2TB FireCuda Hybrid HDD/SSD, while not as fast as a straight SSD, still has read and write speeds well above those of standard HDD's

Disk HDD until moment has i provided good reading, writing and deleted., has good speed of aceso and cache.

I would recommend an SSD, if your reason for upgrading is wanting faster transfer speeds.

Good thus far, random write speed with a 500 gb folder was around 65mbs a sec ( utilizing only the windows copy paste tool measurement, I didn't use any mire accurate measurements for the raw speed and iops
