I downloaded seatools and also bios tesitng of drive--SMART was ok, but did get some sector read errors

All had some bad sectors

The repair cycles work for a short period, then more bad sectors

After all the work of reloading software and configuring browsers, I am having "bad sector" problems with continuous repair cycles

3 or 4 months later the drive is very slow, loud, and full of bad sectors.

Started getting really slow until I ran Seagate's disk tools and it failed testing almost immediately with smart errors and bad sectors

Tested it for bad sectors and such before installing though just to be sure

I got the seagate tools and checked the drive for bad sectors.... found nothing!I put the drive back in the PS4 and spent the next 12 hours or so re-installing and re-downloading games and addons

it will no work on 6gb/s (only 3gb/s) and will be detected as overheatedAlready reported to Seagate, until now not firmware upgrade...

I receive my new Seagate 2T hard drive today and low and be hold it came in a un-label brown box not very impressed on how they present there merchandise

t's a gimmick

bought this drive for an hp laptop for a customer, lost O/S after a month of use
