I was able to install it with ease, no problems whatsoever, but as soon as I booted up my system, I was able to hear a somewhat, drilling or grinding noise coming from the drive, somewhat like a vibrating noise

and it doesnt make as much noise as my last hard drive.

Lots of grinding noise/clicking noise constantly every so often after i installed windows etc, manage to survive 3 months so far, but with that unusual noise since day one

Makes very quiet noises that are almost nothing.

Tried reseating, heard weird clicking noises on bootup.

At first, I used it for my other laptop, which has very loud fan noise,

I replaced the bad drive with this and it keeps making clicking and grinding noises

works very good, almost zero noise and very easy to install

Oddly enough diagnostics repeatedly said the hard drive was fine but drive keeps making constant clicking and grinding noises

In my experience, a hard drive that makes loud noises when it runs means that it's not working so well and may die any time

copying files from my other hard drive using this as a backup got as slow as 90 kb/s.
