THE ISSUE IS SEAGATE'S

I do not recommend you buy Seagate hard drives.

Replaced a failed out of warranty 500GB Seagate drive in my laptop

I will never buy a Seagate Hard Drive again.

Seagate is always reliable and I have counted on them for many years

In the past, I've had huge problems getting Seagate to honor warranties.

The Seagate 2TB Barracuda Sata SSD works as intended

This is the second seagate hard drive that has died on me this year

The SMART values claim no sparing so far and that everything looks good, so it's off to a shelf because Seagate says they refuse to support my non-Seagate enclosure.

Re-formatted the drive... still 1TB.This was a fake product or Seagate really messed up.

Don't get me wrong, Seagate makes a great product, but they've always struggled with customer service (much improved over the last 3 years!
