For older games, I still plug in USB3.0 HDD's that cost around 25 bucks these days...and then use the flash storage for newer XS ready games!

All games run smooth and if I have to move large games from the internal drive to the SSD, it is fast

Doesnt recognize the games or its basically corrupted and the games are deleted

Definitely expensive but definitely worth it, I got a 2tb ssd external for Xbox one games and this 1tb and my 1tb internal for Xbox series x games got a bunch of free space now

Unfortunately 1TB is hardly enough for modern game consoles, and with formatting it ends up being less than that even...

The newer games/enhanced editions/Smart Delivery games will immediately fill up your internal storage

The benefit is it's as fast as the internal SSD which allows you to play series x/s enhanced games without limitations like non NVME SSDs

and they are actually making foolish gamer's think that these are BETTER than the thousands of infinitely CHEAPER ssd's that are all over the place
