The machine broke after one full use

We thought we could change back and forth a lot from fine to medium but this seemed to sabotage the machine

All in all a very nice machine at a really great price!

I started a few settings down from the finest setting, and it was still extra fine and clogged the machine quite quickly

However it is a very messy little machine.

Instead of buying another electrical machine and see it burn out in short order likewise, we decided to replace this burned-out machine with a non-electrical hand-crank machine, also available (from a different manufacturer) on Amazon.com.

I found out that this grinder uses ceramic flat burrs, which are not as desirable as the metal conical burrs used in better machines.

The machine could not grind more than the cup that holds the coffee beans

This machine is more trouble than its worth.

For espresso, I'd first use this machine for a medium grind (the proper size for my drip machine), then grind it further in a hand grinder to get an espresso grind.

Overall, though, a nice enough machine, especially at about 2/3 the price of the Capresso.

The hopper lid vibrates loose/off with every use causing the machine to stop grinding
