All together it is a nice unit just a little messy to clean up.

My expectation of a coffee grinder is that the beans will feed through the grinder without any extra coaxing (ie shaking the whole unit, pounding on the countertop, etc)

My daughter [who's a 'French-Press' coffee fan]; Has used this unit over a dozen times, and loves the way, it grinds/mills, her beans, for a cup

The bin for holding the beans is easy to fill and the cover fits decently, although I would avoid bumping this unit over if you're grinding a lot of beans, as the lid doesn't

As to 'clean-up', the unit relatively clean and doesn't make a mess, of one's counter top area

So you have to shake the unit vigorously the entire time it runs or the beans never grind, but even with shaking it takes over five times as long as my last grinder (Cuisinart), which I did not have to shake.

I'd recommend this unit to coffee mill user's.

We have only had the unit a few days and it grinds coffee the way you would expect it to.

It was a defective unit, but since I waited to use it, it was beyond my return date.

I would have preferred for personal preference a larger capacity unit; however this does what it is designed to do just fine.

The unit is not overly loud, has simple controls to use, and since I grind just what I'm using, I can grind 2-3 cups of coffee in about 15 seconds
