Looks like good privacy and security with dedicated ID numbers and scan codes.

so I wanted to be able to see and talk to my wife while she is holding the baby and not need her to have to hold her phone (facetime, Skype, etc), but it also works as security or just to check in on our dog when we are away.

Very nice security camera for the price, easy to set up and use.

But this has become a more common feature on new IP cameras, so the lack of it compromises the claims that this is a good "security and surveillance" camera, especially since it also doesn't have any kind of intelligent detection that can tell a moving person from a tree branch, for example, on its own
