I’ve had a few extended sessions go from 6-8 hours and my ears do start to hurt near the end of those sessions and I’m ready to get the headset off

It does keep my ears cooler than the closed headsets I have used in the past.

But - I care about my hearing and don't listen to things at ear-blistering volume

The headset is actually pretty light for how strong it feels, and the ear cups are fabric and don't hurt my ears even after wearing them all day

I like the open ear design much better than the closed design of their other headphones.

For the headset itself - the ears are comfortable, but a bit tight around my ears

The headset audio quality was good, but not the best i have heard, and wearing the headset for extended periods of time leaves your ears a little numb

I can wear them for hours without my ears feeling uncomfortable or in pain unlike my last pair.

These sound great, great mic, can wear for over 6 hours and dont hurt ears and i wear glasses.. seriously awesome!

I got this to replace an Audiotechnicas headset, which was hurting my ears due to shallow ear-cups

The volume control on the right ear is a very good design and allows you to easily get the volume right and is easy and natural to use.

Being the open back design instead of the closed like the Game Zeros, my ears or head never got warm.

I really liked the open ear cups as it really opened up the sound stage for gaming

but everything is warm and balanced with and don’t hurt my ears at the top end unlike the AD700s at times

They may look a bit odd because of the fuzzy ear covers for the actual headphones but they are absolutely fantastic

so I can route along the floor to the back of my gaming PC.-Volume control is on the right ear cup, which is much more convenient than the volume control on the Astro Mixamp.-Looks good, reminds me of the headsets worn by NFL coaches on the sidelines.-2 year warranty, that suggests to me that Sennheiser is confident in their product

The ear cups are perfect size to fit all the way around my ears and not rest on them ( my logitech g35's used to cramp my ears)

One small con about both headsets, is that the volume wheel on the right ear cup doesn't go to 0 volume.

These look great and sound good but will blow your ears out

Velvety soft ear pads make extended gaming sessions comfortable

The headphones also stay cool and do not make my ears get hot like some other products

Very Comfy and indeed do not make your ears sweat like Razer Products due, The Clarrity in sound is astounding.

The ZEROs win hands down in comfort; it's like soft, leather-wrapped pillows around your ears, and they're large, but my ears got very hot very fast (and I was wearing them in a ~55-60 degree house).

The holes that you see on the outside of the ears aren't just for looks, or "to help keep ears cool", but they actually allow for sound to travel through them, so wearing the headset is almost exactly the same as not wearing it at all

Without an external device, the sound almost hurt my ears at normal volume

These are light and I enjoy the open ear.

As far as comfort goes, the plush ear cups are very soft and warming, but not insulating

Comfort - I play for 2-6 hours at a time and nothing is worse than when your ears are sore from headphones

When I want to blast them, I don't get the feeling that they will blow my ears off, however, they are plenty loud

They don't hurt my ears and the cord isn't easily tangled because it's covered in material/braided cord

The lift mic to mute and volume on the right ear cup should be the de facto standard for head sets over that horrible idea of placing the controls inline on the wires themselves

I had a closed back design years ago and after an hour my ears would sweat like crazy.

After a few months of use, my microphone is cutting in and out during use, and the volume adjuster on the right ear is breaking

The sound is great, the mic is great, they are comfortable, the plush ear covers are far more comfortable than fake/leather ones (and they never peel, like the fake/leather ones do).Problem is, after nearly 2 years of use I can hear a rattle

and I have to say open ear is much better, with closed ear my ears felt stuffy and itchy after hours of gaming.

They fir my ears well.

Mic broke first after minimal use around 2 year mark, and in the following 4 months the right ear had stopped working and then both cut out entirely

The cords that came with the headset have bent at the connector to the headphones, which I'm not fond of, and am not too worried as it hasn't impacted the sound quality nor overall performance.
