The way they detach from the headband has probably saved me from breaking them over a dozen times; maybe that is why the headphone jack is still great, it is like skis detaching when they go a way they shouldn't, rather than breaking your legVery comfortable, I wear them for many hours daily, never get sore ears

They also pick up interference easier than my other headphones if the jack isn't in absolutely perfect and rotated the right way

... let me point out that I'm not mooching lotion, maxipads, vitamins and toenail clippers 20 hours a day so I can work my way up to a discounted set of headphones given to me in return for an "honest" 5 star "canned" review
