Sennheiser HD 599 Open Back Headphone

    • I plugged into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 with no additional changes and it sounds like someone cranked up the bass
    • etc.)When listening to these with no equalization, they sound pretty good, especially the bass
    • It is clearer, cleaner, more detailed and great bass for open headphones
    • If you are looking for a comfortable pear of headphones with some good bass that you can wear for hours, id definitely recommend these.
    • but u can hear some nice bass with a pretty good soundstage
    • Nice and clear with good highs, mids and natural sounding bass
    • These headphones offer a great range of quality sound, with well-articulated bass to warm mids and highs
    • I now understand why some reviewers say the bass on the HD599 is ‘muddy’ or that the drivers are ‘overengineered.’These headphones are geared towards treble and bass
    • What the 599 looses in sound stage, it gains in focus and a stronger bass impact
    • After listening to a range of songs, I wouldn’t say that the bass is muddy
    • The bass is audible without being obtrusive, and the highs are very clean and pleasant
    • But these phones pack some great bass that provides more of and umph for pop and more contemporary music in general
    • The strange part is overall these provide a very clean audio experience with a more prominent bass than the 598
    • so I'm no audiophile, but I can say that these have crystal clear highs and mids, and the bass is really tight and also clear not distorted and overpowering
    • Not into overpowered bass sounds at all
    • I actually like the bass on HD 599 alot better than the ATH-m50x which I wasn't expecting
    • However, listening to Sublime with Rome while these are amped make their already overpowered bass guitar even more so and it drowns out some other parts of the track
    • From low strong bass to the highst tone - great
    • Bass is articulate but not heavy
    • The upper bass is likewise crisp to the point of intrusiveness.
    • It's hard to put audio with words, but essentially the lower-mids/bass sound louder than the vocal range
    • The bass seems a bit stronger and deeper with these almost to the point of being too much, but I quickly realized this was from my previous headphones having terrible bass response and this is what it should have sounded like
    • Upgrade from 558Amazing clear detailed sound, smooth thumping bass.
    • Senhiser HD 599The interchange-able cables with different lengths worked perfect for home listening as well as on the go
