Both are great headphones either way and will continue to provide hours of joy.

Best headphones I’ve ever worn

All in all these are excellent headphones.

I really love these headphones.

I much prefer headphones over ear buds for the simple reason, the sound is originates further from your ear drum, so louds are not as loud vs. being right next to you drum.

No doubt about it, these are very nice headphones

But after only 2 days of listening at high volume, the headphones broke down

To protect them a little longer, I purchased an Anypro headphone stand, which I *highly* recommend

These headphones offer a great range of quality sound, with well-articulated bass to warm mids and highs

These comfortable headphones have incredible sound, even at fairly low volumes

These headphones sound just fine however they do not have the detail or the base that I realize and enjoy in the HD 598 C's headphones

And as an added bonus they are the most comfortable headphones that I've ever worn

What these offer is an insight into what audiophiles will call soundstage, the dynamics in sound, and the clarity that cheap headphones (or Apple Airpods) can NOT match

Coming from Bose noise cancelling headphones, which certainly have their place for air travelers, there is no comparison

The Emotiva A-100 Flex-Amp is the best solid state headphone amp I have ever owned for only $229 and will drive any headphones you throw at it, with ease!

Some of the best headphones in both comfort and sound quality but for the price go with 598 or 650s

BUT after getting an EQ I was able to tune them to fit the sound I love, and I can easily say these are the best headphones I've ever had, much better than my M40X's
