Bass is boosted in the bottom two octaves

Note: they are NOT "enhanced" bass - which is a must for me

To get good bass response, you really need the earphones with the silicone tips that seal off your ear canal - the hard plastic ones that sit in your ear and fall out all the time just don't sound as good
