Sennheiser PXC 550 Wireless – NoiseGard Adaptive Noise Cancelling, Bluetooth Headphone with Touch Sensitive Control and 30-Hour Battery Life

    • Good bass on club and clear voices on speech.
    • Bass is excellent on both Sennheiser HD1 and Bowers & Wilkins PX
    • ’s got clear highs, mids and lean bass but the sound is to wide as in its not full as for example like in the Sony’s
    • Bass is hard and
    • Bass is decent, but lackluster.
    • The bass is deep, resonant and crystal clear – the kind of tone that gives you chills
    • The bass is decent, but not spectacular.
    • The treble, voice clarity, and clear bass punches will sure make you listen to your music on the headphone instead of your expensive audiophile grade home theater system
    • Plenty enough bass, but not bass-heavy
    • My conclusion is that these are good headphones for listening to music at home, but are spectacular for watching movies and tv shows on your iPad or your TV (if it supports Bluetooth). If the Captune app allowed to add a custom EQ curve to the headphones themselves I would give these 4 stars instead of 3 because that would (in theory) fix the fatiguing sound and soft bass.

    • Deep Bass and crisp trebles and the Mids so clean.
    • However, the bass in Sennheiser is more articulate/tighter
    • Bass is strong – but not artificially emphasized and muddy as it is on so many other headphones
    • For those that love a punchier, meatier bass, a few adjustments via Cap-Tune will have you in bass nirvana.
    • I also have a pair of cheaper Sony MDR-XB950BT that enjoy very much cause I like a little extra bass in my music sometimes
    • Bass is decent, but lackluster.
    • Bass is slightly lacking, and the noise blocking could be more powerful and less pressurizing on my ears(mimics being in an airplane and making your ears almost pop).Still strong enough to block out most of my weed eater or mower when I'm outside and can definitely work as a gaming headset(better than my Sades SA-180).The volume limit is pretty dope, and the double tap(tap your right earcup twice) to hear your surroundings feature is awesome, especially with the microphone on both earcups
    • The bass is amazing, but not overpowering
    • Good bass and definition.
    • bass is too unreal
    • If you try to boost the bass with the EQ settings on your phone's music player, you will get horrible crackling though the headset and a loss of volume.
    • The bass is well not that good my bro has audiotecs sounds way better(no amp) , I listen To a lot of jazz and hearing that bass is what makes the sound
    • Also I love the bass, these heaphones bump, I wear them during lifts, but they will make your ears sweaty if you work out with them
    • Great clarity,bass and highs
    • Great clarity,bass and highs
    • The sound quality is just average, no bass and the conection is not that good
    • Clearer sound, deeper bass, more control over noise cancellation.
    • Sound is very good with nice bass which is why i choise these headphones.
    • Interestingly while I've read reviews stating that they had way too much bass, I found them severely lacking bass, and, if you happen to turn off the Active Noise Cancelation, it drops the bass down so far its nearly non-existent
    • NOT muddy at all with sharp highs and good bass
    • It was "good" but I missed the stronger bass and full tones.
    • Bass is not exaggerated, though perhaps a slight bump of the upper bass range exists
    • Maybe those customers prefer more bass
    • Good/proper solid bass, crisp clean treble and satisfyingly clear mid-range.
    • The qc35 sounds like it has more bass (i prefer flat)
    • However the sound quality was not great as I found the clarity to just be severely lacking when listening to instrumental pieces or loud bass parts
    • On the plus side, the sound was pretty good (switch to "Club" setting for richer bass if that's your thing) and I tested the noise cancelling by standing next to the fridge with no music playing, and I couldn't hear it
    • It was "good" but I missed the stronger bass and full tones.
    • I've always heard great things about Sennheiser and the sound quality of these headphones is as good as or better than every other model I tested, including wired ones in this price range
    • Be sure to follow instructions for the Pause Play option or it won't work as
    • Brother in law recommended these to me as he is purchasing a pair of his own
    • Bass is strong – but not artificially emphasized and muddy as it is on so many other headphones
    • Then I took a call and started typing on my computer: I could hear every click as clear as if I didn't have headphones on.
    • The Bluetooth paring with my Android phone was flawless, as well as with an MP3 player.
    • Definitely a solid A from a first-time headphone buyer.
    • Sony has a pocket inside for the airplane adapter, then a mesh pocket on the outside for a cord (which I don't like as it tends to snag when you're stuffing the thing inside a bag - would have rather just had the pocket on the inside)
    • I have also noticed that the noise cancelling does not seem to be as effective as with the 550s, but I do not notice as much wind buffeting.
    • It's easily paired with multiple devices and intelligently fails over between them as they become available
    • They aren't as sensitive as an
    • If price was no issue (whens that?
    • The 550’s are also quite polite, and nice enough to provide a narrative for you about what they’re doing
    • I still love the sound of my PSB M4U-2’s, but the 550’s are also excellent for pure listening enjoyment, and are not solely justified
