Paper is thin, and with use of markers/pens, it bleeds through fairly easily.

Sturdy cover, good quality paper.

Only the very beat ink works well with this paper, even ink known to be nice on cheap paper (HP printer paper, 20lb) exhibits considerable show-through with this paper.

The pages are heavier than my ‘normal” paper weight which I appreciate as I carry these around with me.

I don't recommend using a highlighter because the paper is thin and will either bleed to the other page or be extremely visible.
