It's plastic sliding on metal rails, no bearings or wheels.

The metal railing became disconnected from the frame, so two drawers dangle a bit

The only downside I've found is that the plastic drawers slide on metal rails

Well today I began putting some small items in the drawers and after sliding one drawer open, maybe 3-4 times, the metal rail simply snapped and broke away from the tubular frame

and I don'[t have to worry about them crashing to the floor.
