    Shadow The Hedgehog - Gamecube

    • The game is hard to learn at first because the controls are different, but once the controls become comfortable the game becomes easier.
    • The reason I'm elaborating on this issue is because I have read a review on one of the gaming sites that harped on the difficult controls of this game, including the fact that it's difficult to precisely move to the sides when you're running
    • The controls are a bit sketchy but definitely managable after an hour or so.
    • The fact of the matter is that any level of serious planned strategizing is wholly unobtainable in the intensely frantic makeup of the game, whose mechanics perpetually dart Shadow forward with both limited visibility and control
    • Not since Bubsy have I seen a mascot-based action game corner the market in unresponsive controls, disastrous level designs, inconsistent framerates, traumatizing character designs, and (my personal favorite) just being flat out broken.
    • The homing attack is also unforgiving at first, but can be aimed in midair and like sliding, is a technique that can be used fairly effectively once the controls are mastered
    • Other levels don't exactly have as much frustrations, but there are still general problems like not being able to get a good view of where to jump at certain points, and control that feels slipperier than in Sonic Heroes

    • Everyone complained the controls were hard but my 11 year old sister played this game with no trouble
    • The controls aren't terrible
    • It is a shame that Sega did not do a better job with the PS2 and Xbox relseases, because most of the complaints about poor controls and camera only affect those consoles
    • Shadow is an appalling mess, horrible controls, dull un-sonic like graphics and a sad attempt to make Sonic mature by giving the lead character a weapon
    • ( It is very good controls
    • And you can Chaos Control with this button to cut out a good-sized chunk of the level and Chaos Blast with this button to destroy just about everything in a 10 meter radius of the destructive hedgehog
    • Anyway, the soundtrack looks and sounds good but my mad dad won`t let me just because they say evil 2 times
    • But I think that it should be rated T for guns and violence and cussing
