It is stainless steel, very easy to use and clean bc it comes out of the base, and so much more convenient than my old beat up grinder from years ago

What I like best, however, is the inner REMOVABLE stainless steel grinder bowl allowing you to easily transfer the coffee to your coffee filter or espresso container.
