I went into Best Buy and had a look for myself

A final selling point was the Best Buy associate said this was the TV she had in her

I took mine home from Best Buy and did not have any dead pixels or damage what soever from laying flat in the back of my pickup.

Amazon had the best price available-buying from a reliable source.
