My honest recommendation is to carefully review this set and if Internet connection is important to you DO NOT BUY the Sharp LC-70UQ17U because you will have problems.

I first purchased this Sharp LC-70UQ17U based on great reviews of picture quality.

We bought the Sharp LC-70UQ17U at a big box store and are extremely frustrated with Sharp's terrible customer service

Have the Sharp LC-70UQ17U for one year now and the unit consistently disconnects from my wireless home network

After many calls, and much back and forth, they understood this is an ongoing issue that I have been complaining about since the first weeks I've owned the Sharp LC-70UQ17U and agreed to provide service under warranty

I did a lot of research before buying the Sharp LC-70UQ, and I'm glad I did

The Sharp LC-70UQ17U TV has been a excellent set

As long as you're watching a movie it's incredible, but the 3-D does not impress me as well as the LC-70LE757 which shares the same exact digital LED 3-D glasses which makes me think it should be the same exact television but better somehow.

They had their local service company contact me and this company told me they could not service the Sharp LC-70UQ17U because the TV was mounted on the wall and Sharp does not allow them to remove the unit from the wall to be serviced
