I have also purchased the Sharpie liquid highlighters which are also better than these (in my opinion), and offer the same array of colors as these retractable ones but are definitely more highlighter-like than marker-like and have a very smooth tip and glide.

I thought this was going to be a great deal for a variety pack of highlighters but what one ends up with is one very good highlighter (yellow), one ok highlighter (green) and a few other good markers.

(hehe):-Sharpie Retractable Highlighters are my FAVORITE highlighter, by far.-Smaller, more precise chisel tip- not those big fat ones I used in high school-The retractable tip mechanism really keeps these from drying out.
