They do not lighten over time becoming an odd shade of what you thought it was.

The darker shades can be a little hard to see, but once they dry on the paper they become lighter

but I do find the darker shades are a bit too dark to read through.

unfortunately, they bleeds through thin papers such as the bible page or recycled newspapers.

and when i got back to use it, it was as smooth as when it was closed
