The tips of the pink and red sharpie were damaged to the point that they were not usable

These are great, because the tip is retractable.

The tips were uncomfortable to color or write with.

These are great for highlighting, but the tip is strong enough that if you hold it another way you can write stuff down without it all looping together

they are a little 'stiff' at first, but 'break in' to a comfortable marker fairly quicklycolor tip.

The retractable tip works well - after several months the pens are all still "juicy" and work great.

I know the tips will not be so fine after a few uses, but that doesn't bother me.

They're pretty fine chisel tip, I'm the type the when highlighting a paragraph I like to have the highlighter lines touch when highlighting multiple lines, with this its very hard without creating multiple dark areas

Because of the relatively fine chisel tip, there simply cannot be as much capacity as those huge highlighters.. for you I recommend Staetler Textsurfer Classic Staedtler Textsurfer Classic Highlighter, Chisel Tip, Blue/Green/Orange/Pink/Purple/Red/Turquoise/Yellow, 8 per Set (364WP8)

It seems silly, but I buy these because of the no cap/retractable tip.

The regular pocket style chisel tip Sharpie highlighters are much better, with a smoother tip and glide across the page

I have also purchased the Sharpie liquid highlighters which are also better than these (in my opinion), and offer the same array of colors as these retractable ones but are definitely more highlighter-like than marker-like and have a very smooth tip and glide.

Also, these in particular don't dry out because there's a little internal flap that covers the tip when the tip is retracted.

The tips are slanted well and overall really like these.

They don't bleed through paper and have an excellent chiseled tip

These are more fine tipped than you big, normal highliter, but they do get the job done

(hehe):-Sharpie Retractable Highlighters are my FAVORITE highlighter, by far.-Smaller, more precise chisel tip- not those big fat ones I used in high school-The retractable tip mechanism really keeps these from drying out.

My favorite it Bic BriteLiner; comfortable to hold, fine marking tip, and I can see how much ink is left (about once a month I throw out a marker because I have used up all the ink).

My only problem is that the tip is too stiff, so I can't highlight at whatever angle I hold the pen.

As I love the writing feature, the color selection in the package, the package itself, and the retractable tip, I have to give these the highest star rating.

Noticed immediately that the coarse tip on these highlighters would not allow precision highlighting, so I used a drafting template to fill in the squares

Also, the tips seem to become frayed and lose their firm tip; I believe it is because it hits up against the spinning disc that closes and opens when clicking.

If you don't have a steady hand, you may have to get used to these, as their tip is precise in its chiseled design

With it’s oddly sharp/tiny slanted tip, I found myself having to swipe through a line of text 2 or 3 times
