I went with classic black with a fine point on the marker, because I find that makes for an easy and legible combo.

Also, if you want to write a lot - it's the most ideal point to have to make sure your words don't look bunched together.

I don't know what happened with this box of fine point markers but several wouldn't write right out of the box.

I'd say the fine point is a little too thick if you intend to use them for writing in more formal documents that require very small writing or even a lot of writing.

The fine point makes my writing actually readable

Since they were introduced, they've been the standard for quality markers, and the fine point is the main size that you always have to have handy around the house and office.

The micro-fine point always me to write on very small surfaces.

This was by far the best result, as the inking didn't appear as thin as it did on other surfaces, and the fine point easily glided across the the page.
