One thing that I have found is a little bit irritating is the caps on mine do not fit snugly on the back of the pen

I didn't think I cared about that, but it's nice to not worry about losing a cap on a permanent pen, and accidentally marking up the inside of your bag, or your pocket, or something

Cap is a secure

I'm a fiddler, so the cap wants to fall off for me when it's open

the regular sharpie pen you have to worry about losing the cap.

However, the caps are way flimsy and 2 out of the 3 cracked within a week of use.

I loved Sharpie Pens however the non-retractable ones weren't very durable (clips would break off the cap, tips would break from the pen)

love the retractable tip, because i always lose the caps for the other version of these pens

The grip portion of this pen slides toward the tip - I'm guessing it happens when removing the cap - and then interferes with re-capping

This is annoying, because I'm afraid I will lose the cap if I don't keep it with the pen as I'm writing.

I will lose the cap of the pen if its not snugly on the back of the pen so this is quite an issue for me, especially since Sharpie pens will dry out more quickly than will your ball point pens

They write smooth crisp lines and the retractable is nice so you dont worry about either losing a pen cap, or chewing on it to keep it nearby!

The grip area on this pen does not have ridges like the skinny barrel capped version.

I love that these retract and don't write in my pockets or that my kids won't loose the cap.

They have a nice cap, and rubber grip for better writing.

I've used the first kind of sharpie pen and those worked so well that I thought having the clicking kind would only add to the convenience since I wouldn't have to worry about losing the cap

The pen is weighted kind of funny, the cap falls off, and if you don't have the cap on the pen will roll right off your desk

It writes as it should, however the cap is very easy to lose as it does not attach to the opposite end of the pen for safe keeping like most pens which causes the pen to dry up.

Heads up: The cap on these pens doesn't click onto the back of the pen like most do

Looks nice, feels good in the hand and love that the cap is secure, doesn't spin and pops on and off nicely.

Don't have to worry about pulling the cap off in time to secure an autograph!

Being retractable means we can throw them in our bags and not worry about it and also pull them out and use them quickly without having to worry about removing/keeping track of/losing a cap.

Cap is excellent, I am a huge fan of the Sharpie pens as a whole, and love the materials, but this is a complete deal breaker.

Wonderful pen, and no cap to lose

They are much lighter than the Stainless pen, and a major flaw with this pen is the cap is very loose when placed on the pen to write which is very annoying

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I am hoping they come out with a blue refill, and I think the cap is a little hard to get off

I've accidentally washed clothes with these pens and they didn't leak because the cap is nice and tight.

One other thing is that the cap is secure when covering pen but when using the pen and placing cap on back end, cap doesn't feel as secure
