Fine tip and flip out is a feature

The fine tips are great for photos and anything you need a permanent fine tip marker.

The tip is ultra-fine, as described, and the ball-point pen type pushbutton works perfectly

If I had to do over again, I wish I had purchased something with a fine or medium tip because the ultra fine really is very thing, but that is not a fault of the product or description, just in my selection for my need

but if the tips are pressed too hard or not used properly they do fall apart or lose their tight tip.

And you just have to retract the tip to keep it in good shape
