Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 - PlayStation 2

    • You'll find yourself loving the characters and having an awesome gaming experience!
    • The characters are lovable and well-written, and getting to know all of their stories through the Social Links is a very rewarding and addictive experience.
    • Characters - I have never enjoyed the characters in a video game as much as I enjoyed the foul-mouthed high school kids of Persona
    • As a voiceless protagonist, somehow you're still turned into an incredible character and member of your group
    • Social links are improved, characters seem more real in a sense that you might catch feelings for them
    • The first several hours are just interactions and getting to know the complex, well rounded, VERY well voice acted characters.
    • That makes him my second favorite character despite never once using him in battle
    • So this is a game to grab as it is long, has great characters you actually get to
    • I cannot stress how wonderful the characters are
    • This is the type of game where you may hate one character at first and over the course of a few months they slowly turn around
    • My favorite character in this game and possibly my favorite in the whole series is Yosuke Hanamura who also has a lot of character development
    • with its compelling story, unforgettable characters and great gameplay i rank it at the top of my favorite games ever.
    • The translation for the game is spot on and the voice-actors fit the characters pretty well.
    • too bad the main character can only be a guy!
    • Overall the characters are great and the game is just fantastic if you are an RPG
    • CharactersI had to add this category just so that I can talk about how amazing the characters are.
    • Lovely characters and amazing soundtrack.
    • First the game starts out very slow with ample character introductions.
    • Pros+Wonderful characters you get to truly
    • it's helped by strong side characters and the opportunity to develop stronger relationships with them
    • Some of these just help your character stats like Knowledge or Courage, but some of them are more important things called social links
    • it was enjoyable to the end and i loved the characters
    • Very rarely, if ever perhaps, have I adored EVERY character in a game before
    • But what you get in return for plowing through the difficulty is a fantastic story and great characters that you can interact with in different ways and all have their own personality and strategic placement on your team
    • and I can seldom assure that a game has captured my imagination as this one, and after more than 100 hrs of gameplay I didn't feel I wasted my time with cheesy, made to appeal market stories and silly characters or dumb sequels of the same formula
    • Great characters, great story, a great time overall.
    • The characters are quirky yet likable, reflecting the personality of their surroundings.
    • The game's like a polished and refreshing Scoby Doo like adventure, and it fits even more with how lively the characters are
    • It had a cast of crazy and interesting characters, the actual combat had plenty to keep things interesting, and the story was very mysterious
    • I cannot recommend the series more, great characters, music and gameplay
    • A Dizzy enemy or character will not be able to stand up on their next turn unless an item or ability is used (I believe the skill name is Re Patra)
    • persona 4 its just a great continuation of the persona series it makes you love hate despise and cherish your character and when the ending comes its gonna wanna make you cry
    • and I can seldom assure that a game has captured my imagination as this one, and after more than 100 hrs of gameplay I didn't feel I wasted my time with cheesy, made to appeal market stories and silly characters or dumb sequels of the same formula
    • If you're willing to overlook the fluff and fuzz, you will see that he's quite a strong character and a valuable member toward your efforts
    • I can't express how much I love the character development in the game and I will give the characters a 10/10.Lasting Appeal:This game will not only make you think you purchased one of the best games ever, but it will also make you think about your life and what you should do with it
    • Beautiful story, charming humor, great character's with intriguing inner turmoil,
    • I usually have characters I like and characters I don't care for so much
    • the characters are likable the combat and the life simulator are awesome the music is godly why havnt you bought it yet?
    • I, unfortunately, never really liked Yukari, and while Mitsuru is a strong female character, she is not at all "likeable" and remained mostly aloof (at least that was my impression of her) throughout the story.
    • First off, the characters are so damn likable and
    • it's mix of fantasy and the modern world is amazing and the great characters, and good voice acting makes this game one of the PS2 greats
    • So if you attack an enemies weakness your character gets to go again but something to think about is that the enemies have the same advantage as well.
    • While Persona 3's characters were endearing they seemed a bit shallow
    • In short, if you enjoy J-RPG's, great story, great characters and don't mind a little difficulty and grinding at spots, I would definitely recommend you check out this little PS2 gem.
    • The first several hours are just interactions and getting to know the complex, well rounded, VERY well voice acted characters.
    • Interesting characters and plot-line, monsters that draw from all kinds of lore
    • The characters are fun and most are enjoyable except for that damn teacher that calls you a loser on day one of school, but i mean hello look at his teeth no wonder hes always a rude ahole hehe
    • Characters - I have never enjoyed the characters in a video game as much as I enjoyed the foul-mouthed high school kids of Persona
    • The first almost 2 hours of the game were filled with pretty much scene after scene, with no real "gameplay", but the story was so interesting and the characters so realistic in their panic/fear that I could've cared less that i didn't go and grind for levels.
    • By the end of the game, you'll love just about every character and hell, you even might like the villain
    • With colorful environments, crisp and well designed graphics, great characters, nice catchy soundtrack, and incredibly
    • The characters are believable, generally relateable, very expressive during combat and conversations
    • The plot is fantastic, the characters are wonderful (and the voice acting is pretty darn good too), the music is catchy and gets stuck in my head.
    • In October (I think), I got a party made of favorite characters and stopped changing team
    • The game plays out like a good mystery novel with new characters introduced, plot twists, and just enough intrigue to make you want to press on
    • My favorite character is nanako and im just happy to return home and have her be like "welcome home" with teddy and kanji making my top 3
    • I really did enjoy the characters & the gameplay was amazing
    • The characters are great, not annoying as I anticipated
    • Rather, each twist adds character to the story and furthers the mystery.+The story also allows for a lot of character development using a system known as Social Links.
    • Chie is a strong and very likeable female character, and even Yukiko, as you get to know her, has quirks to her that really made me crack up.
    • It's just that the characters are so well developed and likeable that they really do shine through
    • The fact that it came out so late in the PS2's lifespan is the icing on the cake.*In Summary*Pros:-Fantastic characters and character interactions that make you really grow attached to the members of your group as you progress through the story.-Fun slice-of-life anime feeling of the game gives it a unique twist that freshens up an otherwise standard jrpg feeling-Music is catchy as hell, especially Reach Out to the Truth (main battle theme) and Your Affection (plays on sunny days)-A lot of what happens in game depends on the weather each day, which is a pretty interesting device that's used quite well.-The atmosphere of the game as a whole is quite laid back and upbeat, which is a nice feeling to have in a modern-styled jrpg.-Excellent story pacing that makes Persona 3 seem quite jumbled in its pacing and ensures that the story rarely gets boring.-Has some truly hysterical scenes that will make you laugh your ass off.-Beginner difficulty allows you to enjoy the game's story without having to worry about death too much.-Colorful game that is loaded with eye candyCons:-Some of the social links in the game appear late, so you have to be particularly careful about getting them maxed in time
    • My favorite characters were (and my final party was
    • And then there are passing moments when you realize that you don't know a character as well as you thought, like when Chie mentions in passing that Yosuke calls her up at night to tell her dirty jokes
