you be a Japanophile to appreciate this amazing RPG, but it certainly doesn't hurt

Whether its me or the gaming industry finding an RPG (or any game at that) that can make me want to play all the way through has been hard for me.

If you love rpg's do yourself a favor and "GET THIS GAME

At this point I'm not even sure if this truly my favorite RPG, but a somewhat objective view shows what is practically a flawless game that has corrected every imaginable critique it faced in its last release

It is also one of the last great RPG's that came out on the Playstation 2, you can find it cheap most places online for now, so snag it while you can

Well, I've been a die-hard Final Fantasy fan for a decade or so now, I've played the recent surge of "dark" and "edgy" RPG's such as Dragon Age, but I've never seen a game quite like this

I should also say that this is my first foray into the Megami Tensei series; I briefly played the online RPG of SMT (need I mention how terrible it was?), and Devil Survivor 2 on my DS, but even that began to bore me after a while

The game itself is an amazing rpg with lots and lots of fun time

Perhaps the last great RPG to hit the PS2 and one that will become a classic in my eyes in the years to come.

When it comes to gaming, RPG's are my weakness.

That aside, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 is an engaging, addictive, and brilliant RPG that offers so much to keep you occupied, and may very well be the last, great game we'll see on the PS2.

On the other hand it's a very well balanced and hardcore RPG, that means you'll need to invest time in it to advance

I just really love this game highly recommend this game to those who love RPG's and still use a ps2.

I love persona series, some of the best rpg games I've every played and this one by far is the best of the series closely fallowed by persona 3 FES

Awesome old school RPG =)

My first introduction to the Shin Megami Tensei series was Persona 3:FES, which was an absolutely enthralling game and the best RPG I had ever played

And this has been the first GREAT RPG since Final Fantasy 7, 10 and Shinmue

I've always loved RPG's for their sense of freedom, exploration and the fact that you are encouraged to play how you want, hence "Role-play"

Add a dash of the format of combat and RPG-number crunching that made Final Fantasy and Pokemon successful RPG

Persona 4 is one of the best rpg's i have played this generation (2005-2008) so far

I would recommend this to anyone who is a Shin Megami Tensei fan or to someone who loves J-RPG's.

I'll tell righ now,i have never played an Rpg this good

Persona 4 is an excellent RPG which I would recommend to anyone

Not remotely realistic, but as good of a system I've seen in a modern-era RPG nonetheless
