The Shubb capos are the best I've ever used.

Kyser capos are infamous for bearing down too hard on the frets and creating unnecessary wear and/or unevenly pulling strings, and the Planet Waves capo requires much more tension to establish a uniform pressure point

Until they come up with an affordable one that gets *completely* out of my way (all capos seems to bug my fret hand, to an extent, when I'm playing certain standard chords, as I end up right up against it), this is what I'll be using, practice, stage, recording.

These capos are easy to set, the curve maintains constant tension across the fret board so intonation shift is uniform

At first I was going to buy one of the cheap $7 spring capos, but after reading that those can damage the neck of your guitar (and don't last long since the spring loses its strength), I decided on this Shubb capo

It does not get in the way of my left hand when I am playing the instrument, like some other capos do.

The curve of this capo fits very well on all 4 guitars (as well as on those of others who've tried it on their acoustics), with consistent, uniform pressure on all six strings without distorting strings as with most capos (no or little re-tuning due to capo use)
