Shure has won me over.

In fact, I notice little difference between the sound of this cartridge / stylus and the much more expensive Shure V15 type VMR that I was using previously.

Being new to the turntables and short on funds I had decided to purchazse a Shure SC35C DJ Turntable Cartridge as well as a Shure M44-7 Cartridge

I could almost swear the low frequency response has been increased over the originals, albeit 20 or so years have passed in the meantime with the 681's, so I might just chalk it up to expectation bias. ;)I'll be purchasing another for a backup pair I think, and hitting up the -7-H's out as well to see the differences
