Shure SE315-K Sound Isolating Earphones with Single High Definition MicroDriver and Tuned BassPort

    • As a previous employee at a company that used to be run by a guy named Steve, I've had the opportunity to meet with several headphone manufacturers and sample their products, including Beats (the worst), Bose (great but pricey), and Shure

    • I came across this article recommending the Shure SE215 for great sound quality and security in ear
    • There are several high end makers, but Shure has a trusted and respected name and I started with a pair of the 215's.
    • The Shure SE215 had no problem with keeping up with the wind noise
    • Why Shure can't fix such a simple problem, I don't know
    • But after what I'd call a premature (2 years) failure of the wire on my SE310s (always coddled and in a Shure hard case when not in use) that I'm going to enjoy my
    • Those Shure 315 have close-to-decent mids, sibling highs and nonexistent lows

    • Shure did improve the bass response noticeably, but unfortunately they seemed to have bumped up the midrange too, and that was the deal-breaker for me.
    • For me, Shure finally solved that problem.
    • Shure makes impressive in-ear monitors and these will not dissapoint
    • What's REALLY great, however, is that Shure provides a packet of EIGHT different types/sizes of earpads (S/M/L rounded foam; S/M/L rounded hollow rubber; a silicone "tree" type, and a foam cylinder, so your chances of finding ONE set/size that actually fits YOUR ears is excellent).
