These Shure SRH1840 Open Back Headphones are by far the best pair that I have for listening to music at home

The Shure SRH 1840 is an excellent pair of headphones

Personally I feel that comfort is HUGE when assessing a pair of headphones because listening to headphones is all about having a pleasurable experience and if a pair of headphones is uncomfortable to wear I am not going to have a good time

But I would have liked a shorter cable for use with Portable DAPsOverall a great pair of headphones

I'm saying all this to say that nuance and transparency is the key to a great pair of headphones
